CAT GER High Speed Collet Chuck

CAT GER Tool holder series has less protrusion length and more contact area than normal ER tool holder, so can provide higher radial cutting force, and greatly increase the clamping power. CAT GER chuck has more stable characteristics can be gotten in high speed cutting process, improved service life. The CAT GER tool holders are more suitable for higher speed and higher precision cutting.

CAT refers to the ANSI B5.50, which is similar in size to DIN 69871(SK shank), but because of the lack of a locating slot, the CAT holder cannot be mounted on the SK spindle machine tool, but the SK shank can be mounted on the CAT spindle machine tool.

1. Material: 20CrMnTi or JIS-SCM415
2. Hardness: 56-60HRC;
3 Taper precision ≤AT3 and part of the standard size are tested by Diebold standard inspection tools which made in Germany;
4 Run out of the inside shank cone: ≤0.002mm；Coaxiality with collet : ≤ 0.005mm；
5 Dynamic balance： CAT40 :G2.5 250000rpm; CAT50: G2.5 20000rpm;
6. When customer order CAT taper shank, can choose metric or other form of threads.
